Atari ST X-Debug Source Download

History

Back in 1992 I wrote a debugger for the Atari ST/TT which was released under the name of X-Debug. Fast foward to 2006 and I find a floppy labelled "X-Debug 0.98", which I can still read on my PC. It contains the full source to the debugger and a bunch of utilities. In case anyone wants it, and for posterity, you can now download the .zip file of that floppy.

The Download

Its here. Enjoy!

Legal Stuff

I can tell you that every line of source was written by me and all rights are mine. (There is one exception: the file MALLOC.C came from Arnor, a software company that no longer exist). You can do what you like with this source: you can laugh at it, hack on it, do whatever you want.

Features

See the official product details here.

  • Full 680x0 Disassembler
  • Window manager (kind of like DOS window managers were)
